Are your extensions 100% Virgin Human Hair?

Yes they are! Our hair grade is high quality and sourced from South Asia, India and Vietnam. The hair is steam processed to produce the different waves and curl patterns which causes no harm to hair - never chemically processed.

It can straightened, curled and coloured just like your natural hair.

We also pride ourselves in ensuring that all extensions go through an extensive quality check process.

How long will it take to receive my order?

At Dark Shugar, we require a processing time to prepare your order , hence, orders are shipped or ready for pick up AFTER processing time. A combination of processing time + shipping type chosen during check out determines when you will receive your order.

I need a custom unit ASAP. Can I have the processing time expedited?

No. The construction and customization of our units require time but we do understand that our processing time period is not suitable for everyone especially during a hair emergency!

Please check the ‘READY TO SHIP’ section. These units ship out immediately.

Where do I pick up my order?

Once your order is ready for pick up, you will receive a email containing detailed instructions.

Otherwise stated, your order will be ready for pick up at ‘ Unit 1-222 Osborne Street, Winnipeg MB. R3L 1Z3’

Parking is located at the back of the building or on the side street. You can also park at the nearest dollarama/burger king. Please arrive with your order number and a piece of photo ID.

How can I cancel/change my order after it’s been placed?

Cancellation — If you are within the 24 hours time frame after placing your order- please contact us via email, contact form or text message. Even if you do not receive a reply within the 24 hour period, your request will still be granted.

Changing Order — Please contact us within 24 hours to change your order, by providing us with your order number and new item request. If you would like to add an item i.e. closure to your order, please contact us before your order is shipped.

Refunds - All sales are final however we can do an exchange/store credit pending the item has not been opened/used/lace cut. In the case where an exchange is approved by our care team, it will be processed within 5 business days.

Do you only accept PayPal for checkout?

For your security, only PayPal is used as our official checkout option. You do not need to open a PayPal account to checkout. Simply click “checkout with PayPal” & you can pay with either debit or credit card.

How many bundles of hair will I need for a full head?

Each bundle is sold according to weight (100g) hence every texture has different quantity needs but generally:

2 Bundles of hair : 10″ – 16″.
3 Bundles of hair : 18″ – 24″
4 Bundles or more of hair : 26″ – 32”

Can I buy my extensions during my hair appointment?

We recommend that you buy your extensions first on the website as they require a 2 - 8 business day processing time. We cannot guarantee that the texture and length you’re interested in will be available during the time of the appointment.

Can you ship to my country?

If you do not find your country on the shipping list during checkout, please contact us or fill out the contact form providing your country and you would receive a reply within 24 hours.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes! Wholesale is offered on all products with an MOQ (minimum quantity order).
